01 What Corporate Events Actually Need

The organiser's reputation is on the line. Not just the night.

Corporate events have a different kind of pressure. The guests didn't choose to be there — some did, some didn't. The room is mixed: seniority levels, departments, plus-ones, clients from out of town.

What you need isn't a DJ who plays loud and hopes for the best. You need someone who understands the room, follows the programme, and makes every transition — dinner to awards, awards to after-party — feel intentional.

That's a different skill set. It's one I've spent 14 years developing.

I follow your run-of-show. I adapt when it changes.

Before every corporate event I ask detailed questions about your programme, your guest profile, and the atmosphere you're trying to create at each stage. I follow your run-of-show. I coordinate with your emcee, your AV team, your event manager. I flag issues before they surface on the night.

03 More Than Just a DJ

I ask questions most DJs wouldn't think to ask.

After 14 years working across sound, lighting, and DJ roles, my world doesn't begin and end at the decks.

Sound Awareness
I can tell you whether your venue's house system is adequate for your guest count, and flag speaker placement issues before they become problems during speeches.

Lighting Awareness
I can tell you whether the lighting setup will kill the after-party atmosphere — before it's too late to change it.

Programme Coordination
I coordinate with your emcee and AV team, read the programme, flag timing gaps, and give your event team input that comes from real experience.

04 Reading a Corporate Room

Not every corporate crowd wants to dance. Some do by the end.

I read the room continuously. Volume, tempo, genre, energy — adjusted in real time based on what the room is actually doing. A table deep in conversation gets breathing room. A pocket of guests near the floor who are ready to move gets a nudge.
